It is a new apartment, very nice location, shop nearby (30 m) to buy some drinks and food. parking is free, but 5-10 min of walk.

Neither Garmin, nor Google maps, brought me to the place by car, but close enough to find it on foot. It is also a part of hotel Palmerira, so that is the sign to look for, not Welcome home Aveiro. The plumber should learn that the hot water is usually on the left.

Very nice little apartment right in old town, with everything you need for two. Highly recommended. English speaking hostess - VERY nice and helpful. Very secure apartment. We like that. Lot's to do nearly right outside your door...(go to the Piano Bar at night - no piano, but fun place). Just doesn't get any better for the price. Not spacious, but completely adequate. Good aircon!! NOTE: the name of this place is NOT "Welcome Home Aveiro". It's "Hotel Palmeira". You stand outside the number on the door asking yourself - "huh? This is Hotel Palmeiro, not "Welcome Home Aveiro", until the hostess sees you, and says.."looking for Welcome Home Aveiro?". She must be used to that......

No parking, really. But always found it nearby, even at peak season. Otherwise - the perfect place to stay for two.
