Cozy City House

Fabulous location close to the seafront cafes, restaurants and park; in the other direction, equally close to main shopping streets with more eateries - great bougatsa at Ανώτερον/Anoteron on the corner of Dimitriados & Ogl (2023). Lovely little apartment: very compact bedsit-kitchen (impressively efficient use of space: fine for two, would have been very tight with a third in the foldout armchair-bed), more spacious shower-room with washing-machine. Kitchen very well equipped including with electrical appliances. Shower pressure excellent. Wireless connection worked fine (although could do with putting name of the network on the instructions, as well as the passcode!). Ground floor: access via key-safe was easy; there are a couple of steps up to the apartment. Likely to be cool in summer but see below.

The only incoming natural light was through lightwells (one patio-door and one window), which was fine for a couple of nights but might get wearing in a longer stay. This is likely to mean the apartment will stay nice and cool in summer; in April the indoor temperature certainly didn't match the outdoors - the clothes we washed didn't dry! With the apartment being on the ground floor, though, it was easy to run to the front door of the building to check the weather. It looks as if 'Cozy City House' and 'City Room' were both created out of a single large apartment, with 'City Room' getting the outside walls and so being brighter. Not a deal-breaker but something to keep in mind.

Well-furnished, very clean, easy checkin and checkout for late travellers. New and well-equipped kitchen.

It would have been nice if the washing machine had a drier as well. The room is quite dark, also.
