Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement très bien situé, avec une vue imprenable sur Rouen. L’appartement est propre, bien équipé et conforme à la description. La place de parking en sous-sol est un vrai plus, surtout en centre-ville. Camille a été très disponible tout au long du séjour, et Axelle nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. La caution nous a été restituée le jour du départ, sans aucun souci, ce qui témoigne du sérieux et de la confiance des hôtes. Nous avions lu quelques commentaires négatifs avant de réserver, mais notre expérience a été totalement différente. Il est important de rappeler que certains avis reflètent davantage le comportement des voyageurs que la qualité réelle de la location. Pour notre part, tout était parfait, nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !

The deposit (€350) was not returned automatically. I found out more or less by chance (didn't check at the time). When I called, it was returned, but this is something to check!

The apartment is modern, clean and bright with a gorgeous view over the western part of the city. The kitchen is adequately stocked and the bathroom is up-to-date. Dedicated parking in the underground garage was a real treat as parking in the area is scarce. The concierge was very friendly and answered all our questions.

Be sure to indicate an exact arrival time and stick to it! Also, the owners will ask you to pay a EUR350 deposit upfront via PayPal. If you do not send them this amount via the 'friends & family' option (which means that your payment is completely unprotected) and send it as a regular commercial payment, they will deduct the EUR10.50 sellers' fee from the amount they pay you back. Although this fee should really be absorbed by the party demanding the transaction in the first place, they were quite uncompromising about this and even refused our offer to split the fee in equal parts. Unlike in all other places we have rented, there is also a zero tolerance policy for any changes or delays. We visited an event at the Olympics so were unsure about our exact arrival time in Rouen so gave it our best guess. As things evolved, we provided an update only to be told that we would have to be there at the originally indicated time or lose our money. We were then forced to leave the event early to keep ourselves from being homeless for the next two days. Luckily, we managed to arrive within the indicated timeframe but not without a great deal of unnecessary stress and disappointment over the shortened event which was meant to be the highlight of our trip for our children.

It was the worst experience of renting an apartment. In 2 days after we left the apartment we got a message that we broke the door and stole the linen, the towels and the dishes and were asked to pay 1000€. We left the apartment in the same condition as it was during check in. We didn’t break or steal anything. We travel a lot and we have rented lots of apartments. So we were extremely surprised and disappointed by this situation and by illegal accusation of the owner of the apartment.

The owners met us and let us into the apartment. They were super nice and helpful. Went out of their way to recommend restaurants and places to visit. Really liked having a secure private parking spot. Apartment was clean and spacious. Close to shopping.
