"Host Failed to Check Us In - Very Disappointing Experience"

We booked the apartment just 4 hours before our arrival, and everything seemed fine until we arrived at the arranged time and couldn’t get into the apartment. I tried calling the host four times on her cell phone and even sent messages via WhatsApp, but there was no response at all. After waiting for a hour, we had to change our booking. Three hours later, the host finally called and blamed poor internet connection, which didn’t make sense since I had been calling her directly on her cell number, not using the internet. Her explanation was completely unconvincing and frustrating.

Apartment was perfectly clean with all necessary amenities, beds were comfortable, big plus is sea view. Host was so kind. Location is perfect, beach and supermarket are on walking distance, also is well conected with other parts of Split with numerous bus lines. We enjoyed our stay there. Warm recommendations!
