Proximity to down town area

No breakfast, was close to ferry which is what we wanted.

We arrived late, and it was tough to find and not well-marked. It was hard to find the host, but eventually, we did. The taxi driver couldn't find it and just dropped us off in the neighborhood. Several people we asked had no idea where it was. It was on a small street, so it was okay that he couldn't get us closer, but some marking would have helped. It was VERY hot, even late at night, and we were dismayed to find our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator and not even a handrail on the stairs. Having just gotten off an international flight, this was daunting with suitcases. No handrail was the worst. And, of course, no air conditioning. It was in a charming neighborhood with little cafes and bars, but four flights of curving, turning stairs to reach an under-the-roof, very hot room with no handrail on the stairs was about the worst.

The four long flights of stairs to get to the place after we finally found it. The stairs need to be clearly mentioned in the property description. The property was advertised as 2 bedrooms..and we booked 3 beds, which it said was an option. There was one bed and two small couch beds, not suitable for adults. The facilities listed a washing machine, but it did not work. The place was tiny with sloped ceilings that we all hit our heads on. But the worst part was the disturbing and completely unnerving banging on the door by someone saying they were the agent (whom I had not met), at 10.30pm demanding I open the door! (Which I did not) followed by lots of yelling and having a disturbing phone call in the stairwell. This was awful and very unprofessional, to say the least. I would not recommend this property at all.

Location of the apartment is convenient. Easy to walk to the old town, the bus station, the train station, the beach or the port. Two bars/restaurants just steps away.

The apartment wasn’t very easy to find. We followed the map and ended up at the right location fortunately but locating the actual apartment wasn’t straightforward. There are a number of buildings and it isn’t obvious which building to go in. Fortunately we were able to get hold of the agent by text who provided detailed instructions. The accommodation met our needs as we weren’t planning to spend a lot of time inside. However, there isn’t an awful lot of communal space for those wishing to have an evening in.

The host was very accommodating even we arrived on check-in in the evening. Very close to the harbour with car-ferry, what was our point of rent.

Everything was excellent, only we expected 2 rooms, but was 1 with 2 beds. We thought that there are a bedroom and a dinning room, but was only one room, colleagues said. Maybe we watched other apartment and booked another one..

The apartment was super clean and comfortable 👌. The location of the apartment was perfect. Lucijana is a great host and replied to all our questions very promptly. It was very kind of hee to send help for carrying the suitcase up to the 4th floor. I only wish the information about the apartment being on the 4th floor was mentioned in the description (instead of in the frequently asked questions), so people with health issues can choose accordingly. We are very grateful for the help that was sent, but for some of us with health issues/limitations, just climbing those stairs even once or twice a day was a bit difficult and since we checked out at 5:45am, bringing the suitcase down by ourselves had its consequences. There is also a 3€ per person tourist fee that you will be charged when checking in (for staying in that area).
