CENTRO Appartamento Ascona

Very spacious and clean. Comfortable for a family of 4. convenient location, close to bus stop, shops, promenade.

The only minus is the bar at the ground floor, on Saturday was very noisy until late, on Sunday was acceptable. For light sleepers might be a problem.

La cittadina di Ascona e un posto molto bello, tranquillo e pittoresco. La gente del posto e sempre molto gentile e cordiale, In particolare le Dottoresse della farmacia Nuova di Via del Borgo. Il padrone de l'appartamento molto gentile e presente. Riassumendo, era un posto che abbiamo un po scelto per caso, ma da tornare sicuramente.

Il caldo , ma ovviamente non è dovuto al posto. Siamo andati nei giorni piu caldi.

Location was fantastic , close to bus stop and a hop skip and jump from where everything to see in Ascona is . The apartment was clean , had everything you could need in the kitchen , bottles of water were chilled in the fridge on arrival day .Good air conditioning in the living room and a fan was provided on request for the bedroom . Incir was excellent with communication and was quick to respond to any queries we had and ever ready to help .

Information to finding the apartment could be more detailed . Eg . The apartment is located before the camera shop . You have to enter the iron gates and walk in to find the key boxes . We found it after calling Incir on the phone . The sofa bed although comfortable was small in size and is cramped for two adults . Smaller kids will fit easily , my son was 17 and daughter 14 .

The apartment is large and bright. The windows open to a pedestrian street, but also have a nice view of trees, mountains - it is nice to open the windows, the air is great and you can hear the birds chirping outside. The apartment is clean, appliances are new and modern, there’s a large bath you can use, hot water works well. Internet works well and is suitable for remote work. Excellent place to relax. Owners are friendly and helpful, and were also kind enough to allow us late check-out. The location is very good, at the heart of Ascona, just minutes away from the waterfront. It is also easy to go to Locarno, you can walk there in about 30 minutes or take a bus.

Perfect stay for a family, well equipped with all things necessary (there’s even a washing machine + tumbler). Super central, only a few steps from the lakefront, close to both cafes and shops and Coop/Migros grocery shops.
