The owners made us feel genuinely welcome and they offered useful tips and advices about trips in the area. They even made sure a fire was on when we arrived. Really appreciated, now that we find more and more "keybox-no-contact-bring-the-money" type of stays. No comparison !! The super shower with steam, bed, TV, everything was of good quality and pristine clean. The kitchen offers what is needed to cook simple meals, except basic ingredients like oil or spices. Cosy chalet ambiance in a peaceful and rural place, just a short drive to the beautiful Bohinj valley and all the touristic environment.

Like in many places in Slovenia, be aware that you will wake up at dawn because there are no blind nor blackout curtains. And in June, it is pretty early for a holiday rest !

Cozy apartment sitting beside an abandoned ski resort. The 6 adults apartment was at the 2nd and last floor of a 4 units building. The main room included an equipped kitchen, with fire place, dining table, a double bed and stairs that led to the 4 beds upstairs. The private bathroom was spacious. The view was great, straight to the mountains. The sourrounding was very calm. The owner welcomed us and was polite all the time.

All very good overall, but just a couple of notes. As per the set up of the room, the temperature on the beds nestled right under the roof got easily very hot, while on the beds downstairs it was ok. The unit was a little bit small for 6 adults and we had to swing all the time around the stairs while we were all downstairs with the risk of hitting them all the time. The sauna word on the room name could be deceptive. It actually is a fancy shower that has a radio, some extra nozzles and it makes steam.

I've stayed there for 3 nights. It's close to Bohin Lake which is a must place to visit and that's the only benefit I've found. There is not much to do beside this lake. The main mountain sites for hiking are far away.

I'll try to point things objectively: - Water in the shower is not hot enough According to the host, it's 50C. As I was explained, it's getting heated by the sun system. Therefore you can imagine the real temp. you get after the night or during cold days when there is no sun. - Slow Internet Wifi (like in the early 90's) - I've attached the photo because I've actually ran the speed test. - The Dry Sauna (the wood sauna in the pic below) is not included in the price, which I was informed only after my arrival. This is as a complete violation and misleading advertisement. As I've booked house + sauna (this was the title) And the one in the bathroom just wasn't doing anything but noise. Although I really tried my best to turn it on. - Host wasn't kind or helpful. Response time was also not very efficient (3-8 hours). - Limited Privacy The house is made out of wood, so you hear when people going up and down the stairs. The hosts are leaving in the same house, so you hear them and they probably hear every step you make as well. I was counting the days for my leave date and I am glad I've stayed there only for a few days The only time the host contacted me from her side was at the check-out to collect the city taxes. Seems like they only care about money and this is another reason to stay out of this apartment and this area in general.

The kitchen equipment could be more complete. For 5 persons it is a bit small. Sauna cost extra pay.

The view was pretty. They had a nice playground and trampoline for the kids. The room was very clean.

This property is a combination of a Bed and Breakfast and AirBnB with hosts on property. The guy was very inhospitable and basically gave a long list of things not to do. Extremely strict about taking your shoes off outside the entire building, telling which windows not to open and doors not to lock, told us do not make any noise on the third floor because a French family is staying below us and will complain and give bad reviews, scolded us for bringing bottled water, and very controlling about telling us how to spend our day. You have to do your own dishes and take your trash out too. The host made it very uncomfortable. Also, false advertisement as there is no sauna here. The image shows a fancy wooden sauna, but what they give you is a shower that has a steam feature.
