Apartments Vila Darja

Situated in a gorgeous village with everything in walking distance. Great for hiking, there is a mercato in the village as well as exceptional restaurants. The host was very welcoming.

We had a fantastic stay at Vila Darja. It was absolutely perfect for myself, my husband and our 18 month old son. The apartment was spacious, modern, well equipped and immaculately clean. Darja was so kind and helpful. We hired bikes from her too which was very handy too and at a great price. The location was great - just a short walk to a restaurant, and a lovely stroll down to the lake. The village is so scenic. We stayed for 9 days and there was plenty to keep us busy in the area. We were so chuffed that we found such a wonderful gem of a place to stay. Thank you, Darja! 😊

Great location, lake within walking distance, nice apartment and Darja was most helpfull. We found Lake Bohinj much nicer than Lake Bled.

Darja is very helpful, villa so close to the most beautiful lake, ideal to pop to for a hike, morning/evening swim or just spend the whole day there. So many beautiful hikes to do straight from the villa. Wonderful evening farmers market and live music twice a week a couple mins walk from the villa, as well as great value bar, shops and ice cream kiosk minutes from your door. Incredible amenities all around. Spectacular scenery. Immaculate and very well equipped villa. Darja generally around to be helpful. Spa an unexpected bonus.

Hard to find anything. We did notice that the walls are a bit thin and we could hear the neighbors, but that's a minor issue.

Vila Darja was incredible! Darja herself is an incredibly knowledgable, warm and responsive host. She met us upon arrival and explained all the hiking trails and activities in Stara Fuzina and Bohinj and to give dining recommendations. You can hike straight from the door to some of the most stunning locations in Triglav! The house was absolutely spotless, the beds comfortable, showers and wifi were great. There is even a sauna/spa room! We loved the outside garden terrace area. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough! We were blown away and felt so lucky to have decided to spend time here. The home, area and Darja are a hidden treasure! We hope to return one day to continue to explore how beautiful Slovenia is.
