Villa Tiha

The location of the property was perfect with easy access to the beach and also Cavtat centre with its shops and restaurants. We stayed in the ground floor Beddit and although the facilities were basic, there was everything we needed. The decor was dated but this was reflected in the low price. The air conditioning was very good. The host was very responsive, welcoming and friendly.

The bed was old and not the most comfortable. Although the bedding looked like it had been washed there were what appeared to be blood stains on the bottom sheet, the sheet had been so worn thin it clearly had had a hole which had been sown up, as had one of the pillow cases. This whole bedding set needs to be replaced. We did know that we were getting an apartment that did not have new modern furniture etc but as a minimum I would expect clean fresh I stained bedding. The fridge freezer was also very rusty and the freezer needed to be defrosted at the least. I would not stay there again.

De ontvangst van de host was erg hartelijk en je voelde je direct welkom. Ook enkele dagen later nadat we al weg waren hadden we haar nog nodig en was geen moeite te veel en was ze zeer behulpzaam. Het zelf meegebrachte ontbijt kon je heerlijk nuttigen in de schaduw van de bomen op het terrasje bij de kamer. Het uitzicht op het haventje tussen de bomen door was mooi. Het centrum van het Cavtat was erg dichtbij en te belopen binnen enkele minuten. Daar zijn vele restaurantjes te vinden aan het water. Het is een levendig stadje. Je kunt ook met een boot vanaf daar Dubrovnik bezoeken.

Loved staying here , a perfect location for staying in Cavtat , which is such a beautiful destination. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the beautiful villa. The bed was very comfy, tv was great and we enjoyed the kitchen facilities.The owners were very lovely and accommodating too!
