Apartments KK

We had a great stay at Apartments KK. The balcony offers a stunning view and spending the evenings on the balcony was the highlight of our stay. There was a table and chairs on the balcony, so we had all our meals there. Both bedrooms have access to the balcony, which is great! Karlo, the host, was very helpful, kind and communicative, he even brought us an extra deck chair! The apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The bathroom was especially surprising, spacious, with both a bath tub and a shower. There was a parking spot in front of the property, so we could park the car easily. We had a wonderful stay at Apartments KK and I highly recommend this listing!

There are two lovely cats that came in the evening. Yes. This is the only good thing you notice, after you were fooled.

1. The apartment is more than twice smaller than stated. Yes, we actually measured it. When we raised it with the owner he was trying to convince us we are wrong... 2. There is no access to the beautiful balcony with the view. This area is a dedicated private area of another apartment. This apartment has a view to the next building and as well it is a passway to other apartments so forget about privacy. Everybody will pass through you .... 3. The apartment itself is very dark because there are no normal windows. There is only a window very high above (same in bedroom but this one is an inner one) but not direct sunlight can obviously get through it because of the building standing next to it. 4. Access to the beach is probably the hardest we have seen here in Croatia. Yes, it takes maybe 5 mins. But these are all stairs! Some of them are slippery, some broken and simply dangerous. In general it is pretty high and you are exhausted once you reach your apartment.

We chose that place mostly for the views and the place more than for the appartment itself. The view and the surroundings are just perfect for chill and calm holidays. You have small beaches all along the coast down the appartment, you just go down the stairs and voilà! Free parking next to the appartment. It's 25min away from Brela, which is a must see city. The beaches are incredible and the city very cute and bustling. We 100% recommend this appartment !!

The only problem we had was to cook, the stove is pretty old and the gas part didn't work but we used the electric plaques instead which took a long time to heat up.

Very calm, quiet and comfortable apartment, fully equipped (soap, towels, salt, sugar, tea, etc.). The owner was very kind and left a gift of chocolate, juice, water and cold beer in the fridge!

The bedroom can be a little stuffy.

Price wise it was great. Next time I would pay more to have a window and view. We had the cheapest smallest apartment so actually we have nothing to complain. Everything was there except for a window that would have been nice in the bedroom. The beaches downstairs are unexpectedly nicely located and peaceful to be at.
