Southernwood - Wantage Road Lodge

The location was great and had everything you needed in walking distance

Good location, comfy bed and great shower

Cosy ideal for one or two nights , staff was helpful when I rang and needed some help with minor things Thankyou

I’m from Didcot originally lived there in the past , it’s next to a pub which is a tad noisy but didn’t really bother me but location is good for shops

The lodge was spotlessly clean, located in the back garden of another property fenced off for privacy. However, If I had known that you had to park in the sainsburys local carpark and not on the drive in front of the house I would not have booked as you had to walk past a drinking only pub to get to the property and I did not feel safe getting things from the car. It had 2 rooms not 2 bedrooms and a living area, one of the beds was in the living area, so was glad we booked for only one night.

The drinking only pub next door and having to walk past it if we needed to get stuff from the car. This felt unsafe and would not book again for this reason.

Very convenient for shops, pub and a petrol garage and nice and clean.

Advertised as a two bedroom, but 1 of them is a bed in the front room, so it's really a 1 bedroom.
