The Garden Apartment

Ideal location

Lovely owners who let me check in a bit early. Thank you very much. They were very lovely people who communicated very well and were really nice, especially Alison, who welcomed me on arrival. The apartment was cosy on a cold November day and was very clean. It was in a very quiet area close to St Andrews. Parking outside was easy and off-road. The owners left fresh milk, tea, coffee, and shortbread. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. Good value if you want a quiet place to stay with good parking within a couple of miles of St Andrews.

I know it is personal preference, but I hadn't expected the apartment to actually be a joined-on part of the owners' house. The door between the apartment and their living space was locked from their side, but was in the bedroom. This was a wee bit off putting for me as I was on my own, even though I never had any issues with noise, etc. I slept really well, and Alison was absolutely lovely when we chatted after I arrived. It just felt a wee bit strange being this close to my neighbours when I hadn't expected it to be set up like it was. Other than this, it was a comfortable and cosy one night stay there. Very spacious, very nice

Nice and quiet location, very close to St Andrews. A car is needed. Great communication with owners John and Allison.

The property was very spacious and close to Kinkell Byre where we were attending a Wedding. The bed was one of the comfiest that I’ve ever slept it.

Lovely setting, comfortable bed in a quiet and peaceful place. Not very far out of town. Hosts were friendly and welcoming- even came home from their dinner to help with the heating!
