It was very homely and comfortable with everything we needed

Loved the bathroom style Lovely decor through out, Lovely bedding Great for short stays, minus dogs Lovely village, good access to the rest of Exmoor and Dunkerly Beacon, great walks

Not suitable accommodation for 7 nights with two small dogs. There was a busy and noisy main road right next to the lounge, horses and traffic all day long, quite stressful, a lot noisier than being at home. Was dangerous when stepping out with dogs. Very small annex, lack of space in the kitchenette, washing up was difficult. There was a persistent smell of damp in the bedroom. Hot water was connected to owners boiler in their section of the house, We had a lengthy period of no hot water, hot water would suddenly disappear when in the shower late at night. I didn't want to be asking the owners to check the boiler so late, shouldn't have to. Owners expressed concern about leaving dogs in the accommodation, said they were stressed. They were right, can't leave dogs here, lots of outside noise, could not settle them. Not suitable for us at all. Vacated the accommodation early. The descriptions and reviews read about this accommodation do not reflect our experience.

Communication was great, really friendly and welcoming on arrival, so cosy to walk in and feel immediately at home. It's really well furnished, with a fabulous bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The location is stunning. I only wish we had longer. We definitely plan on returning. Thank you for the welly lending!

The time going too quickly !

Lots of space, loads of information on the surrounding area, walks villages, beaches. Places to eat. Microwave was a combi oven which was fab, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and air fryer all we could need. Nice little space. All kitchen equipment was available in the cupboards. Managed to get Netflix on the TV, Wi-Fi was great. Bed was comfortable, we had the patio door open a tad as it was warm. There were fans available in both rooms. Outside seating at the front of the property was great. Both owners were very welcoming. Thank you from two very happy holidaymakers. 😊
