Excellent location with super view of the water.

No living area space to sit. A plug for the bath would have been nice.

Safe location very close to the restaurants and tourist shops. Nice view. Great and accessible host. Good shower. Gas stove to boil a kettle during the daily power cuts.

Though the kitchen suited us as we only made toast and tea, anyone with high ambitions of making meals would struggle with the lack of facilities. We had to request the toaster (which is listed in the kitchen facilities on the booking.com site). Also, the bedroom window blinds were not very good at keeping out the light ( I had to use a sleep mask)

Host didn't inform me(prior to my arrival) that the unit I booked was not available. He said it was damaged in the storm only for me to see people checking out on the Monday morning. I booked a unit on the canal for the view and balcony etc. It's advertised as having a bath which I specifically wanted but there wasn't one. The fridge in the unit I was put in sounded like a generator.

Fantastic location Very clean and neat Host went out of his way to assist and support us.

The location is perfect - central, on the canal, and within walking distance of several restaurants and artisan shops. You have a view of the canal from your bedroom balcony, and we saw a seal swimming around a few mornings. The owner is great and super helpful.
