The steps up to the building could do with a bit of light

Good condition great accomodation and good value for money.

The stairs to the accommodation were quite steep.

Location is very good

Not clean, loads of dust, carpets and walls are in bad condition and dirty. Just a bit of work and paint, it can be really nice and cosy. Kitchen was not clean, oily.

The location was perfect; very central and easy to walk around the centre of Buxton. Car parking was good - a permit for the council car park adjacent to the property. The host responded quickly to my queries. The flat was very spacious. The flat was clean.

Although clean, the flat was quite shoddy. There were scuff marks on the walls, the entrance was very shabby, the furnishings looked like they'd been put together piecemeal with bits from a charity shop. There was an old single mattress up against the wall in the main bedroom. The quilt on the bed was very thin and not warm enough. The bathroom towels were old, thin and rough feeling. The kitchen was very small and only had a mini table top fridge. on top on which we found an empty cold meat plastic package. There was tea and coffee, but no sugar. China, glass and cutlery were all mismatched, again suggesting that they were bits picked up from a charity shop.

well priced stay in buxton, at the top of the hill. faciliities in line with price, all fine, everything worked. kitchen was useful as was the dining table, stairs better than expected, 2 small flights to property outside, and one flight inside to living area kitchen. clean tidy. free ish parking. nice micro pub a few mins away, as are other shops, take aways. easy walk down to town centre. would stay again.

large bedroom with a smallish bed, seemed a bit odd. free parking covers nearby car parks but not between 12 and 3pm, never had that before but not a huge problem.
