"Recommend base for completing The Boarders Abbeys Way"

Excellent, comfortable base allowing us to complete The Borders Abbeys Way. (recommend Paul Boobyer's guidebook). Good bus service meant it was very straightforward to leave our car at the destination and then travel to our start point. Returning each evening to the Hill View Studio meant we were able to relax in the well thought out accommodation.

"Clean Cosy Quiet place on a hill with a view"

Excellent location, Great views, Clean Cosy Quiet place..A Short walk to the river and the centre of town and People were friendly and kind .We would highly recommend this place to stay as long as you can manage two flights of stairs and you like a view. Kat's shop on the corner for everything you need,if you pass by at 5 pm -10 pm ice cream on the other corner. .Great treats,Delicious ice cream.Overall our stay was great by the comfort of the place and the area we stayed in.

Loved everything my second visit here it’s warm comfortable with everything you could possibly need and both visits have been lovely and peaceful the owner goes out of her way providing lots of extra treats to make you feel welcome..
