"Magnificent views of the Gran Sasso."

A wonderful self contained apartment on the 5th floor with a balcony , terrific views to the Gran Sasso. Everything provided so you can prepare meals. Large bedroom and interesting books about Italy.

Taxi driver couldn't find the building because it is not actually on the Via Madonna degli Angeli but on a lane that goes off it. The owner met me outside a nearby bar that is two steps away. I was surprised when the owner asked me to sign a short stay contract which is mainly concerned with protecting him from damage to the property which is completely and very nicely furnished.. I suggest if you don't speak Italian that you enquire about this or getting the contract in English. I found the cook top tricky. It is is an induction type. Make sure you do NOT hit the lock control, as I did by accident which will lock the controls so nothing turns on. I had to look up the instruction manual online to solve this.
