Great location! The check in and out process was smooth and easy.

The check in process is intrusive and cumbersome. It relies on an on-line system, where photo ID is shared in an unsecured fashion. This is not really evident when booking. It relies on doing this before arrival, which is not possible without internet access. This was difficult and quite frustrating when arriving late, unaware of the steps required. The number given to contact the hosts was not answered initially, and required 3 attempts. The property itself is acceptable; nice touches such as laundry detergent and kitchen basics.

Instructions for parking, locating keys, accessing the property were all incredibly clear. Loved the link to the online property guide - super simple information. Loved the little extra details like having a few essentials in the pantry/fridge and a great supply of crockery and cooking utensils like pots and pans, etc. Truly couldn't fault the place - really well organised and exactly what we needed for our stay.

The fire alarm going off at 2am and us being the only people who evacuated. Not sure if this is common in Darwin (it has happened to us before multiple times when we stayed at different accommodation). Not the host's fault obviously but if it is a known common occurrence we would have appreciated a warning somewhere like in the online property guide so as not to be caught off guard in the middle of the night.
