Doolin Heights Apartment

Great spot, lovely comfy rooms and spotless when we arrived. Host were exceptionally welcoming and left some eggs, bread and milk for us in case we were hungry. Short walk right into Doolin.

Loved everything about this place. Well stocked, clean, quiet. Peaceful to come back to after a day of hiking.

Quiet, relaxing country location with adorable horses on the property.. There’s also a detached patio type structure that’s perfect for eating breakfast or drinking coffee in the morning while taking in the countryside sights. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. They provided some breakfast food basics and coffee, sugar, etc. Very much appreciated! The apartment actually had a dryer (and a washer of course). In Europe, it’s rare to find a dryer. We loved having that convenience. The friendly owner greeted us and gave us tips for seeing the Cliffs, Doolin restaurants and other points of interest nearby. We loved our stay here.

We arrived into Doolin late and the all the restaurants were already closed. Our host Joan was very kind and thoughtful to provide us with the some sandwich-type food for dinner on that first night. That was so appreciated! Thanks Joan!

The setting for this lovely home is truly exquisite! When we first arrived we were thrilled to see a direct view of the Cliffs of Moher, a beautiful rolling pasture with a mare and young foal on the property, and the charming town of Doolin only a 3 min drive away. The owners live next door and were there to greet us, gave us a tour of the property, and stocked the kitchen with fresh milk, bread and eggs…a lovely bonus. The house was much larger than it appeared in photos, and extremely comfortable for our short stay of only 2 days. We would love to return to Doolin Heights and stay longer next time.

Beautiful immaculate comfortable home, nice and helpful hosts, GORGEOUS open land with roaming horses, foals, donkey, short walk to town.

Nothing really, it was great. We had a little trouble figuring out the washing machine and how to lock the front door as they’re different from the US but we worked it out, no problem.

The 3-bedroom house is situated on a coastal hill overlooking the sea and the cliffs of Moher. The house is furnished and equipped as if you were at home, the cleanliness is perfect. Joan is a super host, she will fulfil all your wishes immediately. Thank you for your hospitality!

The house is a little far from the village, but is quickly accessible by car. Renting this house is not cheap, but perfect accomodation for 4-6 people.
