The place is a good area The place has a working washing machine and dryer The cleaner came to clean while we were there and did not steal anything, Apartment is in a secured area

1. The bedding was not the quality I expected, the inners were old and seemed to be for a bigger bed that the cover they were in which made it uncomfortable to use. 7 days is a lot in an uncomfortable bed , of all things bedding should not be an issue in Ballito. 2. There were no sheets on the bed , none 3. The towels were either soaked on a strong scent/scented way too much , I had to remove from the bedroom and put them in the bathroom to help us breathe and went to buy myself a bath towels. 4. The kettle did not boil water , it warms water then switch off. But the bedding was the most inconvenience for 7 days ,

The location was very comfortable. The flat was also good for everything we needed.

We had a very pleasant stay, it was clean and comfortable. Elri was lovely and accommodating with the booking process.

Our week holiday in Ballito was nice and relaxing overall, and the sea view and location of Chaka’s Cove 66 are definitely excellent. Being so close to the beach was a major plus, and the aircon in the bedroom was also very appreciated during the warm and hot nights.

Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives, and for that reason I would rate this stay 2 out of 5. The first inconvenience was that the key had to be collected from a fuel station almost 3 km away from the property, which was not ideal after a long drive. The unit is also advertised as a ground floor unit, but what is not clearly shared is that the allocated parking bay is uphill at the back of the building, and you still need to carry luggage down two flights of stairs to reach the unit. Inside the unit, several maintenance and cleanliness issues stood out. The microwave was not working properly(it goes on and one can select a function, but it does not warm up), and the TV box connected to the television is outdated, which meant the DStv Stream app did not work. While TV is not a priority on holiday, it does matter on rainy days when going to the beach is not possible. The kitchen cupboards were not properly cleaned, especially on top of the cupboards, and the fridge also needed cleaning and defrosting. The handle on one of the pans was loose, and one drinking glass and one plate were cracked, leaving only three usable glasses and three plates instead of four. In the bathroom, the extractor fan clearly needs servicing and cleaning. In the bedroom, one cupboard door hinge was loose, and one bedside lamp did not work at all. The security gates could also use an overall clean and repaint, as they are dirty and rusty, which affects the general first impression of the unit. Although there is a communal braai area, most of the other ground floor units seem to have their own Weber or braai at the unit, which would be a worthwhile addition for the owners to consider. With some attention to maintenance, cleaning, and clearer communication in the listing, this unit could be much better, because the location itself is excellent.

Good rooms, very clean bathroom, very clean apartment overall, had all the essentials, everything was so convenient to the beach. Best location.

Apartment was clean, well furnished, quiet, good view. Our host was always available when we needed her

Network was poor, couldn't watch TV even though I had my Dstv decoder

The lock of the front door was not working right when we got there and it Jam the next day my husband fixed it and we told them but never got our R1000 deposit fee back , apartment was full of cockroach also send them photos.
