The apartment is comfortable and clean in a calm neighbourhood where I felt safe. Not hard or overly expensive to get a Bolt or Uber to go into town from the apartment. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. Above all though, Debbie, her father and her daughters are lovely people! Very nice to chat with and were available for any question I had, brought me litres of water when there was a water outage, checked on me, etc. They even offered to take me around town for some visits. Definitely recommend staying here and if I'm ever in Durban again I'll be back!

There are not many sockets in the living room & bedrooms, but there was an adapter with 4 sockets of which 2 European and 2 South African with which I managed just fine (for one person).

Very accommodating, very friendly hostess and very cosy 🇿🇦 style home

Unfortunately in typical 🇿🇦 fashion, mosquitoes didn’t allow us to sleep but if you pre-arrange with the hostess or bring along a can of Doom, you will have no issue at all
