Beacon Rock - 6 sleeper Luxurious Apartment

The fridge keeps on making a beeping noise was hard for us to sleep.

Location is quite good, but does not possess the claimed sea view. And is not beachfront as claimed. The bedrooms are quite spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is on site parking, although access to the apartment is complicated, especially on foot.

There was effectively no water in the apartment from Friday to Sunday. Reading prior reviews, I can now see that this problem has existed for months. It is unfair and wrong not to inform potential clients of this persistent problem - no showers, no toilet flushes, no water in hand basins. We had friends staying elsewhere in the immediate vicinity who had no water problems whatever. Embarrassingly, we needed to ask friends for access to their bathrooms each day. This is a problem that Booking.com needs needs to do something about. The apartment was rather poorly presented when we arrived, although the management agency made significant efforts to correct things. The cleaning lady was an absolute gem, who did everything she could to help address our issues. Most notable of the “other” faults was the presence of all the apartment’s cleaning utensils and products stacked on the balcony in full view of all the guests - totally unacceptable. This was presumably because there is inadequate storage in the apartment. We never saw or heard from the owner throughout all of this. ALL IN ALL, THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE GIVEN THE PRICE WE PAID.

Clean and comfortable - great kitchen amenities two bathrooms, good security and best of all great hot showers with good pressure

A little awkward to find, not overlooking the beach as we thought, no power points in bathrooms, poor lighting in bathrooms for make up etc

Great place . Easy access, to gate way and would definitely go back
