Enjoy Durbuy 1

We had very pleased stay at the apartment which was very well equipped. We had everything needed in the kitchen and nice experience at the large balcony where we had our coffee. Very easy way to get our key from the lock box and 10 min. access to Durbuy and local supermarkets. Our host Kitty had prepared a nice welcome present - a red wine bottle and some snacks.

The only disappointment was the strange running shower not balancing the hot and warm water. I would advise Kitty to ask for a plumber to fix it. The rest was fantastic.

Lovely home with all amenities

The pool unfortunately closes at 18h00 and opens at 09h00. It was very hot and the sun up till late with no opportunity to swim. Park facilitator ask everyone to leave the pool area and locked up. Not expecting that while on holiday and with teenagers. Our balcony was directly opposite the neighboring house balcony, which gave us zero privacy. A small screen for privacy and canopy for the hot sun would have made the balcony more user friendly. Having said that the house itself was perfectly neat and well equipped.

Very nice walking areas. The apartment is clean and fully equipped, nothing is missing for a comfortable stay. The owner very nice and helpful. We were with the dog at no extra charge. To the center of Durbuy 5 minutes by car or 30 on foot. I definitely recommend it.

The apartment was well located in a beautiful part of the Belgian Ardennes. It was good for exploring the local area, including forest walks, picturesque little towns and villages. The site was surrounded by trees. On the edge of the site is a sports centre which has a bar, meaning that you do not have to drive to have a drink"out" in the evening. It is also a good area to discover second world war sites as well as prehistory. The megaliths at Wéris are only a few miles away. Our highlight was a trip to the Grottes de Han and the animal park in the same massive site. The apartment itself was comfortable. We didn't know how to work the cooker but when we messaged the owner, he came over within a couple of hours to help and all was fine thereafter. Thank you to Kitty and Geoffrey for a great stay.
