Lovely size rooms and very comfy bed in front bedroom. Lovely linen and all very clean throughout. Nice location.

The bed in back bedroom needs a new mattress- was very uncomfortable- could feel the springs through it. The shower in back bathroom also needs looking at- poor water pressure from it. The kitchen would benefit from salt and pepper and some cooking oil. It would be nice to have enough dishwasher tablets for length of stay. The windows in back bedroom were difficult to shut. The wardrobes could benefit from either being repaired or replaced.

The property is in a great location and has good-sized comfortable rooms. We had no issues with noisey neighbours as other reviews mentioned and found it peaceful and secluded. Lovely character to the building and the aesthetic is great. The walk into town or down to the river is easy enough and we got to explore from a central base and yet were far enough out of town to not be disturbed.

Only let down by some basic bits - The furniture all looks great at first glance but is mostly damaged or broken, the shower is missing a seal so leaks onto the floor, no spare bin bags for a family of 3 for 4 nights, no cleaning supplies for use after cooking, no detergent for use with the washing machine. I wouldn't mind supplying these, but it would be useful to know that it's required beforehand. The joining instructions that were emailed to us were detailed but very fuzzy and possibly from a bad copy.

heating did not work propertly. First night no heating and was very cold. had to get them to send out a plumber but when we turned the heating down on the last evening it would not come on again

Lots of noise from the apartment above throughout day and night. Incredibly loud. Boiler was very hit and miss. Freezing all day when arrived, and also stopped working on the Sunday morning so couldn’t shower.

This is a beautiful and tastefully remodelled apartment in a lovely old house in a peaceful location. It is very close to town if you like walking, which we do. A back gate leads to a path down to the rear of St. Hild & St. Bede College, then down to the river. Walking into town is easy if you are steady on your feet. Walk along the lovely riverside right into the city centre without crossing roads of any consequence. Durham is stunningly scenic!

The cloakroom toilet cistern was overflowing into the loo and we had to remove the lid and press the blue button to stop it. The dishwasher didn't work. The TV entertainment setup was a mess of wires and difficult to understand but it did work in the end for Netflix. The crockery was a little short-stocked.

Not a lot really, it wasn't the place I'd originally booked. The location wasn't too bad, a bit further out than I thought.

The staff were very hard to get hold of, I had issues with the property and nobody came out even though they said that they would, broken fitting and fixtures, poor to basic equipment too. I wouldn't stay here nor would I stay in any of their other properties.
