Apartamentul este amplasat intr-o zona foarte buna, la doar cateva minute de centrul de shopping al orasului. De asemenea, la o scurta distanta de locatie exista un supermarket mare de unde va puteti aproviziona cu orice ati avea nevoie. Din punct de vedere al dotarilor, mobilierului, designului interior si confortului totul este minunat. Patul si pernele iti asigura odihna binemeritata dupa o plimbare prin centru, aerul conditionat racoreste placut iar daca vrei umbra, toate ferestrele sunt prevazute cu rulouri exterioare. In bucataria bine utilata iti poti pregati mese delicioase. Pentru o prima gustare gazda ne-a lasat in frigider fructe proaspete, apa rece, gheata, unt, miere, lapte pentru cafea iar in cosuletul de langa espressor am regasit capsule pentru cafea, dulceata si paine prajita. Ii multumim gazdei pentru amabilitate si confortul oferit.

Desi gazda ne-a pus la dispozitie un loc de parcare chiar sub fereastra dormitorului, acesta se afla pe o straduta ingusta pe care sunt parcate si masini ale rezidentilor si ca in tot orasul panta este semnificativa, cu vizibilitate redusa si putin loc pentru manevrele de parcare, mai ales pentru o masina mai mare de tip SUV. Din acest motiv, dupa prima seara noi am ales sa parcam masina in parcarea din port, care este o parcare cu plata dar usor accesibila.

The place is very clean and well organized. It’s truly equipped with everything you might need – from towels to kitchen utensils, and there were even complimentary treats left for us. Every window has mosquito nets, as well as external shutters and curtains, and one of them even has a clothes rack. There’s also air conditioning and constant hot water (which for me is definitely a big plus). Our host welcomed us warmly – she was very kind, helpful, and friendly, even recommending different places for us to visit. She also always replied to our messages quickly. There is a parking spot, which is highly appreciated when you’re in Kavala. We found it easily, as well as the apartment itself. The location is both a plus and, to some extent, a minor downside. On one hand, it’s really close to the center (about 3–5 minutes on foot), with all the interesting places nearby. It’s also quiet, with no outside noise. On the other hand, it’s worth noting that the parking spot is located directly under the apartment windows (the apartment is on the second floor), but to reach the entrance door you need to go up about 10 steps to reach the ground floor. Personally, I needed a bit more movement, so it worked out well for me 😄.

As for a few small downsides: the way to the parking spot is on a steep slope, and once you get there, maneuvering the car (for example, to turn around) can be a bit tricky. However, after a few times parking, you get used to it. We also found it a little unusual that other cars were parked right in front of the entrance door (since it’s shared space for the building), but they didn’t cause us any noise or trouble. Lastly, keep in mind that there isn’t a terrace with a view (the windows face other buildings). This also wasn’t a problem for us, but the photos were a little misleading in that regard. In conclusion, we had a wonderful stay in Kavala and at Joy Spot apartment. We truly appreciate their hospitality and everything they did for us. The treats left for us were delicious, the apartment was comfortable and convenient, and the whole experience was great. I definitely recommend it!
