The location of this beautiful apartment was perfect for our trip to Durham. The host James went out of his way to make us feel welcome on our arrival. We were greeted by the very friendly James who had left an array of goodies for us including bubbles and strawberries and a hamper of treats. He was very helpful also in arranging a travel cot and high chair for our young grandson who was also staying with us. Would definitely stay here again when next in Durham. A great find!

It was right in the centre of Durham. Riverside retreat was a lovely apartment. Parking on site. Bottle of bubbly, fresh strawberries and a hamper when we arrived. Great attention to detail. James the host was great, met us on site and gave us a run down on what was near. Made for a perfect weekend away.

Absolutely nothing to not like. Couldn't nit pick at anything.

A very enjoyable stay. James the host was very helpful and the accommodation exceptional. Couldn't fault anything. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Thank you James for the hamper and wine, it was very thoughtful.

Location perfect and very easy to enter and leave city by car.

TV was a bit dissapointing, only wifi, no sky or satellite TV.
