Village was spotless. Accommodation very good..2 hotels very nice for food and drinks. Tuck inn great takeaway or sit in.sinclairs larder very good food.butchers.2 shops. And a lovely wee charity shop run by locals who were very nice..we had 2 dogs its great for dogs.plenty nice walks and a big park at your doorstep. We went to montrose. Arbroath and brechin and had a great time. Thank you

I liked the look and feel of the Ramblers Rest. The wooden flooring and doors had a great appeal for me, the furnishings were very tasteful and thoughtful . The Bed was really comfortable. The hot water was very efficient. The property was so handy for everything within walking distance. Andy and Gill had a left a few goodies in the welcome basket and some milk in the fridge - it was a lovely welcome. One of the reasons I chose this property over others was because of its own private outside area with table and chairs. That was a great suntrap late morning / early afternoon.

The road outside the property is a main road with lots of tractors going past. That was a little bit noisy with the windows open - I dont think there is anything that can be done about that! I was glad that farmers were doing their job because I know they are having a terrible time at the moment. I think the housekeeping forgot to put a sheet on my bed because I only had a mattress protector but we all forget things and it was still comfortable and didnt affect my sleep.

Good location, tidy, everything we needed.
