Old building, uphill walk to the city center

It was great in terms of value for money. There was a spacious bedroom, hallway, and kitchen. We made a reservation for two people, and they assigned us a room with a bed accordingly. If more people are added, there are other rooms that can be opened up, so it’s very suitable for staying with a large group. It was spotlessly clean, and the owner was very helpful. No parking problem and it’s located right next to the Meltemi Tavern.

Nice area near a little fisherman’s port with good restaurants and a supermarket. Loved Kavala.

My husband found the bed hard. There was no oil for cooking, but I do realize places here in Greece don’t tend to have much. It was a nice stay.

Kavala was our last stop on our Greece trip. Considering the calmness of being in January, it was a place that felt like home in a location that had exactly the features we were looking for.

Very nice and clean. Good location. Have a lot of room for free car parking right near your door. Have some heating system, but it was not in operation. But each room have Aircon, so you may get any temperature easily. Have solar system for water heating, but in winter hot water is not enough for few people. Host say it also have an electric boiler, but to put it into operation you need to call host. So do not hesitate to call for help if you run out of hot water!

Little problem with hot water. It was already close to midnight when we discovered what no more hot water available. And we hesitate to disturb host about it...

Everything was perfect. The household was really nice.

Just had a hot water problem but i did not ask to the owner about it. If i'd asked, i am sure she would fix the problem. Since i only stay one night it was not a big deal for me.

The house was very clean. Looks like it was renovated recently. It is very basic, so don't expect luxury

I booked for 5 people of which 3 were single. It turned out if you want to use all 4 bedrooms you need to book for 8. One of our friends had to go somewhere else.
