We really loved our stay! Everything was spotless clean, the apartment is really quiet and parking was easily available on the street. Pedro was super attentive and brought us fresh bread every morning for breakfast. It was definitely the best stay we had on Sao Miguel.

We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the light sensor on the stairs in the night. We get it that it is for safety reasons but it can be a little annoying in the night.

Wonderful place - very clean with fantastic views from the terrace. Pedro is an amazing host, helped us with advice on things to do and lent us snorkelling gear. Also , the fridge was stacked up with welcome beverages and snacks and we had fresh bread every morning. Furnas is simply a fairy tale, quiet, but with all amenities to have a comfortable and indulgent stay and Casa Pacheco was superb place to stay to enjoy Furnas but also the entire island of Sao Miguel.

Pedro is an excellent host, he was very attentive to our needs. Especially appreciated bread every morning, fresh fruit and treats on arrival and unexpected birthday treat. The location is great, short walk into Furnas centre, yet on the quiet street. Place had well stocked kitchen, strong shower with good suppliers. Well designed decking, perfect for yoga or just chilling. Everything was well thought through, even the fans were quiet enough to use in the night.

Fresh bread in the morning and all the breakfast must haves is a 6* customer service experience! Totally recommended 😍

We loved our stay, great base for exploring Furnas, conveniently located. Very comfortable, we loved the balcony for morning coffee and Pedro our host was incredibly attentive with lots of fantastic recommendations for the area, restaurants and special touches like our morning fresh bread. Highly recommended

It was so cozy and was so thoughtful

Great host and accommodation! The backyard terrace overlooking the garden is beautiful and a great place to sit outside. The daily fresh buns at the door were amazing and the food items left were very thoughtful. There is a little grocery store not far away to add whatever you need. We even saw sardines being delivered, and tied to houses on the street! Tony’s and A Quinte are just down the street. We found this location to be very walkable, although we did drive to the Hot Springs at night. The host has dark towels available for your use. We had street parking right in front of the accommodation. Definitely walk all around the town as well as the lake and see the chapel and waterfall. Go to both the East and west of the island to compare the different landscapes. Take some hikes for whatever you are capable of undertaking. It’s simply amazing. We stayed in Villa Do Franco after Furnas and love that location as well.

Everything was very good for us. Note, however, that if you have any limited physical mobility, there is a set of stairs to walk up when you go in the front door. It is well lit and was easy for us.

Pedro is the best host. Info on places to go, things to do, and restaurants. Perfect quiet location at edge of town, but walkable throughout. Furnas is magical
