House Bali Furnas

Amazing, zenvibe, cozy, clean, perfectly located apartment. Parque Terra Nostra just around the corner. Restaurants, Poca da dona Beija, various parks are all within few minutes walk. Monica is a gracious host and kindly allowed us early check in and late check out. Thank you so very much, Monica.

Location perfect. In centre of Furnas. Spacious apartment and very clean. Coffee machine with 4 pods was great. Cutlery and plates and cooking equipment in great condition. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean. Smart TV was great after a day out exploring. We did not meet the host but was quick to reply regarding a query we had. Really loved the Asian style and theme of apartment.

The apartment did get quite hot with no air con, so we had the windows open in the evening to make the room cooler which worked, but then we had a few flys and mosquitoes entering the apartment, but nothing we could not handle. When it got to around 8pm we would close the windows as was getting cooler.

The house is in front of a repsol gas station with bad smell at a very noisy crossroad. There are 2 beds but one was broken unfortunately. In any case dont count on this bed it is very uncomfortable and can acomodate only shorter people than 1.7m. We were also invaded by cockroached. So very expensive for one bed instead of 2, noisy and not clean. A bad experience and no compensation from the landlord.

The space is beautiful , bright and incredibly located ! I was able to do everything on foot ! To be exact - Parque Terra Nostra - a 2 minute walk - basically its back yard. Caldeiras - an 18 minute super scenic incredible walk . Lagoa Furnas is about a 35-40 minute walk - be ready to either walk along the road for a portion (much flatter option) or take the other path which is beautiful but incredibly steep for about half of it (just be ready for a proper hike ) - it's very well marked . Many restaurants, shops (the famous Quejaria Furnense-3 minutes, Bolos Levedos (typical incredible bread) de Rosa Quental 1 minute, and much more) . This traditional bread was also delivered to the door by the owner upon my arrival - what a warm welcome ! You will love mystical Furnas and have everything at your door step if you stay here :)
