Tigh Noor - Escape to Kinvara by the sea!

I was staying here as a base to tour other parts of the area and this was perfect, Kinvara village is a pretty place and Dunguaire castle not far away well worth a visit. The hostess was friendly and helpful and for me this place was the perfect choice.

The independence just to do what we wanted. The covered area to sit outside when it rained. Advice on where to visit/shop.

Only the weather

Really nice location and Thereze could not of been any nicer and welcoming, brilliant host. Very helpful also with regards to recommendations which we took her up on and had an amazing time. Was only 20 minute walk into the village.

If we were to be picky it would of been nice to have a proper bed BUT we still had 2 comfortable nights on the sofa bed and it definitely wouldn't stop us from returning again.

Clean, cooking facilities, spacious. Good location close to a village. Parking available.

Property advertised as double bed and futon bed, but only had a futon bed which was small for 2 people and not the most comfortable. Breakfast supplies were available for self preparation but only enough items for a cooked breakfast for one day. Enough cereal and milk and toast for both days. Power outage during the night left us unable to cook or shower on our final day. Although this was beyond the control of the host, we were unable to contact her to make enquires in the morning.

Bed was a soda bed that was not as wide as a double. It wasn't supported underneath and tipped over twice. Only got internet for a couple of hours. Located 40 minutes outside Galway, but we were lead to believe we would be close to town.
