Emplacement

Nice apartment very close to centre and marina and beach. Nice clean sheets/pillows.Well equipped kitchen. Very good communication from host who met us and gave keys and showed ua the underground parking

Apartment has a constant stale damp smell. Nothing would dry and clothes felt damp.The host said it is because of being close to sea, but we kept windows open, but could not resolve. Could do with more coffee mugs. Noisy cobbled road( not fault of apt) and the roads are difficult to figure out as it has signs showing restricted entry, so had to wait till we found a policeman, to ask if we were allowed to drive through. Once figured out, it was OK

Perfect pla e in Gijon

The location is excellent, the apartment was clean, and the instructions given by the host were helpful and clear. We were also provided with extra towels. We arrived late, due to travel delays and there were no problems with meeting the host. Free dedicated parking in central Gijón, where parking is always difficult was great to have. The location so close to the beach and the port made getting to where we wanted to go easy.

The kitchen area, although it had everything, was a little cramped for five of us!

That it was a fully equiped apartment.

The ground floor apartment was located in an old building. Unfortunately a humid smell and mould reeked throughout. Evidence of mould/damp was covered up with stone work. We only stayed for a few nights. Couldn’t wait to leave due to fear of possible respiratory problems. The 3 bedrooms included a kids room. Would not recommend a family stay for an extended time due to the pungent abounding smell.

Decorations, lots of space, and free parking.
