"As I said. House was lovely just a shame about the attention to detail"

8.0

Perfectly situated for our walking holiday

Property itself was lovely. Felt a few things were missing that should have been provided. No welcome pack that according to visitors book had been provided. Only one tea towel in kitchen , no hand towel. No scourer or cleaning cloth for work surfaces etc. No soap in downstairs toilet. Shower door in double bedroom doesn’t close properly. Drain in shower not cleaned properly.

"Great location and well equipped"

9.0

Great location - 20 minutes walk into Killin and some lovely walking routes on our doorstep. The place was spacious and had almost all of the amenities we needed e.g. everything for cooking, big fridge, towels.

The second bedroom is very small. I know it's probably designed for two adults and two children but we were a group of four adults. I assumed we'd have a cheap shower gel/soap in the bathrooms but we didn't. There were two things that should have been picked up by the cleaning team. First, there was a dirty towel in one of the bedroom cupboards. Second, the oven tray kept in the oven was dirty. There were a few issues so it was a pain having to report on those but all credit to the host as I reported two of those issues on the first day and the host had sorted them by the following day. The other issues weren't things to sort during our stay but things I felt I should report given that a damage deposit had been taken. These were stains on the carpet, a broken hinge on the kitchen cupboard and a leak on the ceiling in the kitchen diner. All of this did slightly detract from being in "holiday mode" but were very minor and didn't put us off the place.

Location Comfy beds Parking and access. Warmth

Bedroom door didn’t shut and has been marked in visitors book as such for some time. Kitchen knives were blunt and no sharpener Bin lid closure was awful noise as slow close broken.
