Onar Patmos

The amazing view and the calmness. There are a lot of restaurants close by with nice food.

The breakfast had to be improved in order to be worthy of the facilities and the price.

The location

Most beautiful place to stay on Patmos! George and his team are awesome hosts. The breakfast, services and housekeeping were great, and the amazing view on top. We had a perfect holiday and will definitly come back!! Thanx for everything to George, Giota and Dimitra!

The hotel is beautiful, just a handful of accommodations which are all different. Ours was on the ground level with a terrace, a large living room with table and kitchen facilities at one end (we liked the coffee machine!), a corridor with wardrobe and shower room off and then the bedroom with door directly onto the terrace. The location is stunning. A beautiful sea and land view and a large, really attractive swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers and settees around it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ordered each evening and brought to the room in the morning on trays - fresh orange and fruits, yogurt, breads, pastries, cheese, omelette and coffee - a lovely start to each relaxing day!

The approach to the hotel is on a very rough road. The taxi from Skala cost 18 euros but for the return journey we were charged 25 euros because it was ‘prebooked’ (?!) Didn’t quite understand this! There was nice shower gel and shampoo in the shower but no other toiletries and no soap for the hand wash basin - we had to lean into the shower for soap when hand washing. The swimming in the sea was lovely but getting in is quite stony - you need beach shoes. There were hundreds of little black beetles in the swimming pool when we were there (we still swam though) but they were gone for our final day.

Everything was perfect!

The unique position in a quiet, secluded spot of an otherwise busy island (you cannot do without a car or a scooter). The beautiful view and the cosy beach just below the hotel. The staff is minimum, but welcoming and ready to assist (thank you, Mr Aris). The spacious and well decorated mini apartment.

The hotel doesn’t provide any food and drink service, i.e. no breakfast nor bar. We knew it so we shopped on the first day and used the kitchen in the apartment.

Excellent location in one of the most beautiful Greek island. Quiet, perfect sea view. Beautiful architecture and tasteful decoration. Aris is very knowledgable and helpful and Dimitra (who by the way is an accomplished painter!) kept the place spotlessly clean

Not much privacy, at least for our studio. People could walk a couple of meters in front of our veranda. Eventhough with Google maps you should find the location easily (not always though - somehow it occasionally gets confused!) it would help if a few easily visible signs were posted along the way after leaving the main road. Also it would be nice if the bar was open for a coffee or a snack

There was nothing to eat and drink. No bar no kitchen no snacks. This was the most ridicilous thing ever. Imagine an amazing beach, an amazing pool but no coffee no beer nothing. This was not communicated before our arrival and was a complete surprise to see a property this good to not have food and bev.
