These are all small details, cuz the place is great, but I just wanne be honest about our stay: - Personally I would love to have seen some heavier curtains cuz these ones still let a lot of light in and I'm very sensitive to that. So at 5am I was always wide awake. - The kitchen area is handy in theory, but very unpractical. As a tall person I really struggled cuz the cupboard opens up towards you and overlaps the entire workbench to begin with already, so I had to constantly make sure i wasn't bumping my head into things while trying to cook on a 1 pit stovetop etc. - Tv didn't have any sound from time to time. Think this might be due to loadshedding rebooting the tv router every time or something.

The studio apartments are beautiful and well kept, the space and amenities were such a positive addition. I felt comfortable during my stay, from the bed to the couch area I really felt at ease, the bathroom was a highlight as it was incredibly spacious and well lit. The outdoor area was also a strong contender in terms of highlight and I cannot describe how pictures don't do it enough justice. I also got a lovely interaction from the individuals working there so not only was the place lovely so were the individuals. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

I cannot really find fault as my only issue was the bedding which got fixed the first thing in the morning so it's more of a positive on how quickly they responded. I would have to say location wise it is more of a tucked in setting, quiet neighborhood and quite a distant from the tourist area & town so for a solo traveler who likes to walk everywhere they are limitations but ubers aided; however, I cannot fault them on this as it definitely gave me the rest and peace I needed for my stay.

The staff were very welcoming.They have great furniture in the room and was always made clean by the housekeeper lady. The apartment was so cozy great for winter season it was fully equipped with electric blankets, Aircon, dehumidifier and a gas heater. The pool and garden was always kept clean . The braai (barbecue) kit was well organized stocked up.

The driveway coming in and out was difficult it's located in a hillside terrain and was a challenge to always get out and in to the apartment. The room we stayed had a sensor on the fan that looked like a camera so felt a bit uneasy About it.

Beautiful tranquil gardens, the beds were so comfy and both beds had electric blankets for the cold evenings. I would definitely recommend this to all our friend and friends. The domestic cleaner was lovely and so friendly and Mike was very helpful with getting our DSTV to work.

I think a breakfast could be offered as an extra.

Our stay at Armadillo Studios was lovely and I look forward to re-visiting when I next visit Knysna 😊
