Apartamento Los Chinijos

Carmen es maravillosa, siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar en todo lo que necesites. El apartamento estaba impecable, súper limpio y con muchos detalles que marcan la diferencia: neverita de playa, sombrilla, toallas, ¡hasta crema solar! Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. Además, la piscina es un auténtico lujo para relajarse. Sin duda, repetiríamos.

La única pega es que por las noches hay mucho calor acumulado dentro del aparatamento, pero por lo demás, todo genial. ¡Repetiríamos sin dudarlo!

The host are very friendly that they would contact you and make sure the time you arrive/ leave. Location is in the middle of the island, closed to everywhere. Property is perfect, with all the stuff we need.

Hot water is limited but not a big deal, also you would need a car. WiFi can be faulty sometimes, but it's normal being in a small island

A special stay at the village house north of Playa Honda. Quiet and relaxed environment with a pool and outside seats. The host is super helpful and friendly. I had a very relaxing time at the Casa and there is everything there for any sort of stay. Guime is a small village with a decent regular bus service. There are two restaurants and a shop. It's very peaceful get-away however and you can feel immediately on holiday here.

As pointed the sink tap (bathroom) should be changed. I would have preferred a firmer/larger bed, but that's my taste. Minor points really.

The apartment is very well equipped. Apart from cooking utensils and spices, there are also some snacks provided. There is also a swimming pool. The host is the best. She is very attentive and responds promptly to any request. She is so kind that she even cooked some meals for me. She also accommodated my late check out. Guime is a very peaceful location, perfect for those seeking quietude. If you are a hiker or a runner you can easily climb Montana Blanca from there.

This is not really the fault of the host but there was a cyclone with a lots of rainfall which made power and internet not functioning. However, prior to the cyclone, I was given LED camp light and a gas stove just in case there is an outage. Moreover, on the following day, the host provided the workaround with an extension cable connected with her house and I had power and hot water again. In the meantime whenever I needed to take a shower, the host shared her house with me and said that her house is also my house. What a great host. As you can see, even the negative section is mostly positive.
