FLH Cais Sodré Modern Flat

We have very strong mixed feelings about the experience. The flat seems new and the location is very nice - close to metro/ train station and bus+tram stops, but we’ve been dealing with cockroaches the whole week we’ve been in there and the staff didn’t seem to care much - never experienced such bad service before.

Once we booked the place, the letter came in with staffs message that they have constructions happening on the other side of the street and that’s why the apartment had a discount so allegedly it’s a win/win. Well that wasn’t the case for us as we had to be inside the apartment working most of the time. We were super disappointed that this hasn’t been made known in the description of the apartment whilst trying to choose it. Regards the cockroaches, despite trying to contact the staff and ask to either get a similar flat or any sort of compensation, we were completely ignored regards our request. The staff just said they’ll call the exterminator the next day. That day passes and nobody comes. The day after we’re again forced to try reaching them, then they lie about never promising to call services for the day before in the first place. The exterminator finally came after few days, this helped for the next 2 days as we didn’t see amy cockroaches for the time being, but then they started reappearing again in the bathroom and kitchen (which is in the same area with living room). We were taking the trash out every day, keeping everything closed or in fridge, but didn’t help much. The apartment shouldn’t be rented out until this problem is fixed. Totally unacceptable and we’re very disappointed.

Everything was excellent, size of the apartment and very clean and well located. Communication also excellent

To fix the curtain hooks - small detail but noticeable and would be perfect with them done

We stayed for 3 nights. Apartment is located close to very "active" Lisbon tourist area - walking distance to promenade, few touristic locations and a lot of restaurants and cafes. It is also very close (5-7min walking) to amazing TimeOut Market where you could taste selection of various foods. Subway/metro station is located approx. in 10min walking. We had remote check-in and check-out, which is very convenient if you need to check out early. Apartment itself is very beautiful, huge guest room with sofa that transforms to a proper bed, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Towels, bed linen and soap provided. Even though located in quite noisy area of the city - soundproofing/windows are doing great job in terms of cancelling noise. Overall - easy recommendation, would definitely stay again!

The check in process was very efficient and low stress. Property management provided the main door code upon arrival and remotely unlocked the unit door so we could access the keys. Previous reviews mention loud construction and although it was still going on during our visit, it wasn’t a bother at all! Very satisfied with the property. Excellent location, spacious living area, huge couch for additional guests, full fridge and standard sized kitchen, in-unit laundry, easy-to-use property website with all relevant info and instructional videos, great location. Short walk to Timeout Market, Cais do Sodre and Santos stations, Augusta Arch, pink street, and much more. There’s an aesthetic, well-crafted cafe called Comoba just 1 minute from the property’s front door.

Overall satisfied. The shower water would get very hot, but if you can withstand the heat, it’s a plus!
