Portugal Here I Come - Alfama

The place is cute and cozy, perfect for a single traveller. Safe neighbourhood and close to the many sights, metro and train station. The electric heater was a nice surprise, as it gets cold at night. The towels provided were huge and fluffy.

A lot of people mentioned the noise. There are bars outside, but with the windows and shutters closed it didn't brother me in the bedroom. However, it might be different when you stay in the living room or want the windows open.

+ Great location, authentic old building, the apartment is clean and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. - Very small apartment, thin windows and front door, noticeable smell of old age, it’s impossible to open the window because the front door starts banging due to the draft. After a storm at night, there was a puddle on the floor in the morning.

Location of the apartment was great, a lot of restaurants nearby, close to interesting spots. Apartment was clean and there was enough space.

Small (not expensive) improvements would be really aprriciated, like hangers for the towels, paper towel in the kitchen, fixed showerhead assembly, bedroom's lightswich placed closer to bed, electric sockets placed closer to bed.
