Vita Portucale ! Deluxe 3 Br Apartment in Arroios

The apartment was a good value with plenty of rooms that were comfortable and clean! Our group of 4 could make meals, enjoy playing cards, and we were well located for access to central Lisbon ( downhill walk to Avenida Liberdade & bus stop nearby). The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. Also the host was accessible for any questions we had. Highlights: dishwasher, washing machine, room fans, very functional kitchen supplies (bowls, plates, pots and pans, etc), small elevator and location!

Lowlights: water pressure could only be used by one function at a time, instant-on hot water heater was either scalding or off, the 2nd shower was extremely small, and you may need earplugs for road noise in the front rooms to sleep.

The property is a great location with a small, quiet, quaint lift to the 2nd floor. The apartment was stocked well with kitchen utensils however we weren’t cooking any meals so not sure on that front. Plates and cups for cereal and coffees available. We used a pot for boiling water as no kettle. Mattresses were comfortable and plenty of bedding. Fans in each of the rooms and big windows or doors to open for fresh air. Lounge suite can comfortably fit 2 but 3 if sitting upright. Plenty of dining table space for 6. My suggestion would be move the dining table and put a bigger lounge in for lounging. Has a washing machine and plenty of line space, bring your own pegs. Overall a very comfortable stay for 3 of us. The bonus was the 2nd bathroom off one of the bedrooms. The 760 bus was so convenient at our day. We could catch that to all parts of the city and it was never far to walk to get it back home again. Perfect. Photos taken as we were leaving

Our only bug bear was the hot water or lack there of. Could not have 3 hot showers in a row. Lucky if you got one hot shower. The hot would last 1 minute from start to finish. We were there 5 nights and 3 women. No hair washing ☹️

The location was excellent, we were met by the cleaning staff to hand over the keys. The apartment was well equipped, would have appreciated additional toiletries and toilet paper. I would recommend this apartment.

The coffee maker was difficult to operate, the elevator was extremely small and additional toiletries would have been appreciated.
