Excellent location, warm welcome from host, very comfortable.

The apartment is clean and comfortable, and in a quiet location, very near the castle. There are some restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful.

If you don't like walking up and down hills, this is not a property for you, although there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away from the property, and lots of people seem to use Ubers. We experienced a problem opening the front door to the overall property, which contains four apartments, on our first night, and had to call the staff, who knew about the problem, but didn't warn us. We did manage to get in, but we were concerned about a repeat for the rest of our stay.

The flat was very cozy with good facilities. The location is exceptional!

We liked everything about the place

the apartment is charming, very old but recently renovated (except the kitchen) and modern decoration. cross ventilation in the aparment is excellent to cool the temperature at might since there is no air conditioner

they do not provided pods for coffee for the mornings we stayed (only 4 pods would have been enough). there is one floor of stairs and access to the apartment is difficult. not recommend at all for people with mobility issues or heavy bags. the kitchen is not complete as the other apartments visited in Portugal. Small refrigerator
