First time after all my stays during many years with booking.com, I got robbed. I booked this apartment to celebrate my birthday. Me and my parents were out in the city celebrating and hanging out. When we returned in the evening, we noticed our belongings missing. A suitcase, two ipads, a laptop, cash, documents — an incredible amount of valuable things. Surprisingly, nothing belonging to the apartment was taken and the hosts never showed any sign of interest to actually check up if the apartment's belongings are safe and not stolen. The door remained perfectly intact, showing no signs of intrusion. As we were later accused by the hosts - we left the door unlocked. I myself closed the door before leaving. The apartment belongs to mr. Lorenzo, who never appeared himself (saying he is out of the country), but is managed by another company. We asked for a rental contract, but we got only a declaration from that company that we stayed at this place. I asked mr. Lorenzo to provide a contract between him and the managing company and never got a response. Upon the check-in I was demonstrated two outer locker boxes, next to the entrance door (it is the 3rd floor). One is for the guests to pick up or leave the keys during check-in and check-out. Another one is where a spare key of the hosts is kept, as was explained. The locker boxes are opened by a code as you have on suitcases usually — rolling numbers. In my understanding it is called negligence since anyone willing can easily get access to this lockerbox. To make a long story short, I spent my birthday evening at the police station. The next two days again between the police stations and the consular office to restore the ID to travel back.

Very nice and cozy apartment. Everything you need was there. Beautyfull open kitchen and two bathrooms.

Nice, quiet location with views of the Bay of Lisbon. Very comfortble and nicely appointed, spacious flat. Hosts are very communicative, have lots of recommendations, and are eager to make your visit a pleasant one.

Limited street parking. Short walk to overnight paid parking. Be aware there is no lift. Sofas could be more comfortable.

Great place, very spacious, great communication with host, nice detail leaving us a gift basket, easy self-check in.

We were 5 and the fifth bed was a little bit uncomfortable and little. There was also no ventilation in that room, but it was shared with the host who had its best disposition to change it for further visitors.

The location, the apartment and the host. Our experience at this apartment was fantastic from the time we made the reservation. Henrique communicated with us regularly, went over and above our expectations with assisting us including my aunt who uses a cane, and provided clear step by step instructions. On arrival, the home was immaculate and conveniently located in Lisbon. A beautiful view and a delicious bottle of vinho verde . I would recommend staying at any location where Henrique is the host as he clearly has a keen eye for detail.
