Charming Apartment to feel Lisbon

it is a very comfortable apartment. It is close to the airport and not difficult to reach the city center by taxi or public transport.

The flat was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked. The neighbourhood was quiet and residential, with close proximity to the shops and the metro. We also met the neighbourhood black cat! But special mention to Ricardo, our host, who was very kind and responsive. There were some essentials missing from the flat (cooking oil, shampoo, conditioner) but he immediately had them delivered to us, along with anything else we needed. He even sent us a bottle of wine! He was gave us some excellent local restaurant recommendations. There's even a black notebook in the living room, where previous guests have left their own reviews and drawings - such a charming idea!

The design of the bathroom could have been better. The sink is small and a little inconvenient to use. The shower tends to flood.

Clean, spacious, fantastic location. Host was incredibly helpful with local recommendations and checking in on us. Easy check in and check out.

Like other guests have said, apartment is under a flight path and there is a noisy dog in the building. None of these things can be helped by the host, I brought earplugs and was fine.

The host is excellent and very very quick to resolve any issues. We really liked the apartment it was perfect for having a place to call home while exploring Lisbon. It isn't quite in the centre of town but that is reflected in the price and in any case there are excellent transport links, and a bolt taxi to the centre never cost more than €4-5. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Apartment is clean and comfortable, metro is few minutes away. The host is very kind and helpful. We had a great time staying at Ricardo's place and would definitely recommand it!

Very nice place and the best host ever. Location is good and near to airport and close to city center, it is clean and you have everything there to enjoy nice vacation even if you have a small kid :)

The area is brilliant - a well appointed quiet residential area, surrounded by a good selection of food outlets and restaurants. Both the green and yellow metro lines are within 5 minutes walk and buses are available to most locations. Consequently access to the city is easy and our bus journey back to the airport took 10 minutes. The apartment itself is comfortable, pleasant, with a nice outlook over the little park and is well equipped and furnished. There is ample space for a family of four on holiday for one or two weeks and more than sufficient for two adult couples for a shorter period. Ricardo is an excellent and willing source of information about the area and all things Lisbon.

Some guests have mentioned aircraft noise and indeed the apartment lies pretty much under the flight path for the nearby airport. However, it wasn't a problem for us and was a whole lot less irritating than the dog living in the apartment immediately above who took up station on the balcony each day, barking at every passer-by. Ricardo tells me that it's owner is renting and will be leaving at the end of the month, so this shouldn't be a problem once she has gone but may be worth checking with Ricardo before booking.

I wish we would have known how noisy the flat was with the planes…from 5 am til 23.00, very very loud noises form the plane, made it impossible for us to sleep one of the two nights, the other night was better but still, I was surprised to not have seen it in more reviews and would have known what to expect then…
