Great location if busy so you need to want to be in the thick of it. No AC but an internal ventilation shaft means that there is always a gentle breeze inside of you want it.

I’d forgotten about how much I appreciate a washer dryer - still, it was hot so things dried quickly.

The perfect apartment for a weekend! Location was excellent, bed was comfy, and even the shampoo and soap provided smelled amazing. Little details like that made it extra special

The only issues was the noise from outside. But that’s hardly the fault of the property owners! Just something to keep in mind if you’re here for work or particularly sensitive about noise at night

First and foremost our contact (Ely) was super helpful in getting into the unit before actual check-in since we arrived way too early with our flight. The contracted cleaning service was still cleaning the unit when we arrived but allowed us to drop off our luggage while we walked around to get the lay of the local area. Ely helped us with opening the main door with entry code and access to the unit's keys (lockbox). The unit itself was smaller than we expected and the bathroom I thought was an odd design with the toilet being right by the door. If someone happened to open the door your leg would have been banged up immediately with the door while sitting. My spouse knows! In terms of amenities in the unit, other than the lack of dishwasher, it had everything we needed to prepare our breakfast and some light lunches. I might suggest that they replace the toaster since it was not functioning properly as we had to hold down the lever on the side to toast bread. Paper towels were provided and soaps were not an issue in the shower and bathroom sink. Note that Continente is a short 10 minute walk to the north, plus there are two smaller markets nearby that have all the necessary needs for coffee, milk, bottled water, breakfast selections and fruit. Ely did provide us with a new umbrella, especially with all the rain in March of 2025. Much appreciated and regularly used! There was a lack of a bench or large chair to hold our large luggage. We had to put it on the floor by the unit's eating area since there really wasn't that much room anywhere else to put it somewhere accessible for the both of us. The noise! The unit sits about halfway up a set of large stone stairway to an upper road. These stairs are used by everyone and the noise level is quite noticeable at night. One of the balcony doors didn't close properly which caused significant noise to come in easily while sitting in the TV area.

The boiler needs servicing and I hardly had hot water. The bathroom basin is blocked. Owner does not answer/return calls. The apartment is very noisy from voices just outside the window even though the shutters were closed at all times. Talking/shouting/laughing/arguing just outside bedroom window till past midnight. The entrance to property is on a road which is a stairway and it is necessary to carry luggage up and down the steps. The bath does not have a plug.

Very clean and cozy apartment. Nicely decorated and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay: fully kitchen equipped including coffee and cooking basics (salt, pepper, oil…). Fresh fruit and water available at our arrival. Spacious bathroom, with clean towels and toiletries. Super central location at walking distance from all touristic spots and public transports. Also parking in a private garage was excellent, as we could leave the car and sightsee by foot and metro, without worrying or extra fee. They also provided many recommendations which made our stay even better: we loved the restaurants suggested! Definitely will come back!

Everything was clean and functional, with kitchen equipment enough to make basic meals and the internet was also good. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of room for luggage. There was a large fan in the bedroom, which helped with sleeping at night. The bathroom was good, with plenty of hot water and clean towels.The parking was excellent with good directions to it, and there was a lift from there to the flat.

It really would have helped to have had a washing machine and some clothes airers, as we were on a one month trip and needed to wash underwear and some clothes. I was forced to wash them in the sink and to hang them on coat hangers, which took longer, so please get a machine! Also, we couldn't enjoy the TV because hardly anything was in English. Some news channels and film channels in English would be welcome. As for the noise outside, yes it is true, and people do sit on the stairs a few feet away from the window, but it isn't threatening or dangerous. I just accepted it, but I do use wax ear plugs for sleeping at night, and my husband is quite deaf, so it wasn't a major problem for us. The air cooling system in the living room doesn't work, as it just blows hot air out of a duct, which cannot be placed out of the window because the window won't open far enough.
