Alfama 88, By Home With a View

The apartment is located in the heart of Alfama, a beautiful and historical neighbourhood of Lisbon, close to the city center (yes, it’s hilly, but totally worth it). The house was clean, the room was spacious and the sofa-bed not as small as it’s written in many reviews (could sleep in it in 2 adults easily), which I found too severe sometimes. It’s not a 9 or 10, but definitely a 7 or 8 and not a 5, as it was when I booked.

It had a mold at the bathroom and the bedroom. The Wi-Fi was not all the time. The electricity was down if you heat 2 rooms at the same time. It is a hilly neighborhood so not recommended. not accessible for Vehicles

EVERYTHING!!! Worst experience ever. Booking.com's customer service was a joke, they asked me to clean the apartment (on arrival) by myself... I told them there is no clean beddings in the room, they told me I can sleep on the floor!!!

Good experience live in Alfama District, like local.

Washing machine was spoit by last visitor and we are not informed until we wanted to use... did not arrange for repair and no other arrangement from the owner. The road to the apartment was very sleep and not convenient for those who has luggage.. also, when u go up the apartment,the stairs are small and steep to climb up. Next, the apartment look old and did not see as seen in the booking .com. There are mold stain on the toilet ceiling.
