A Terrace on a Topfloor with a View

The trade off to being top floor is 125 stairs with no lift. Not an issue for us but if you're not fit you may want to think about it

Amazing location. Walking distance to Alfama, Bairro Alto, Placa do Comercio (close to the urban beach/peer). Supermarket in 100m, Metro/train station 5 min walking distance. Great host, the bottle of wine on the house was a nice touch :) Superb views from the terrace. Loved having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening on the apartment terrace:)

Ceilings were a bit low so we needed to be careful getting out of bed :) we saw it in the pictures when we booked but did not realize it until we got there :) not something critical but mindful of. Maybe in the future a shelf in the bathroom would be helpful. For 2 adults and one child it was hard to keep all stuff on the sink side in the bathroom so we would not have to use the mirror in the livingroom.

The view, even though it was dark outside when we arrived, was absolutely wonderful! Views of the Tagus River and across to the statue of Jesus Christ in Almada. Fantastic location, close to the Timeout market and metro station and 2 minutes away from the Elevador de Bica which is the iconic funicular train. The property itself has a wonderful outside terrace, perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing and the inside is split over 2 floors with a lovely kitchen diner if you don't feel like eating out! Would most definitely stay there again. Similarly, being met at the property by Marta was wonderful, she gave us some great hints and tips which definitely helped us make the most of our trip.

Nothing could have been better as such but there are 6 flights of stairs to get to the property so it's not for the faint-hearted! Also, the bedroom has a VERY low ceiling, again not really an issue but something to be aware of!

Martha is so friendly kind and very helpful.she let us check out late too.Excellent locations,metro and bus stop are a few steps away.Apartment is on 6th floor and no lift as described. But it wasn't an issue for us. The view on the top is beautiful, and so relaxing. Highly recommended

The view is spectacular! Our family of four was comfortable. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft area, the parents were comfortable downstairs. Great location near the bus/metro/train station, Time Out Market, and easy to walk to many areas. It was quiet and restful in the evening and we enjoyed the terrace very much.

Location was very convenient. Apartment had a lot of character. Host was very nice and helpful. Great view from the balcony.

No where to get changed. Cant stand up in the bedroom loft, bathroom too wet to change in there. Had to use the outside mirror and floor. Front door at the street was very hard to open. Key doesnt turn easily. Ceiling was leaking in two places on arrival due to the heavy rain.
