The Old Fire Station Ludlow

A wonderful location near to the centre of Ludlow. The town was an eclectic mix of fascinating buildings and superb range of eateries. The house itself was like a tarsus, very quirky and relaxing with a lovely welcome box and all mod cons. We did a nice walk from the information pack, went round the castle,and visited the market. Very helpful host sorting out a parking issue.

One of our couples had a leaking bath.

Property was fantastic, very roomy, as we were 8 adults, could not have wished for any better.

Plenty of space for a multi generational family get together. Great communication from Charlene. Really well equipped and the beds were comfortable.

The apartment is very central to the town and all its amenities. Ludlow is a pretty and interesting town with great places to eat and drink. House is full of character and has a quirky charm. Modern appliances. Parking permit for road outside the house and also able to unload luggage easily. Large open plan living space.

The configuration of bedrooms is such that access to one bedroom is through another. Apartment needed a bit of attention to cleaning in particular the high ceilings and windows which had many cobwebs. We stayed during a particularly hot time so more effective fans or cooling system would have made our stay more comfortable . Spiral staircase to main bedroom was a bit of a challenge especially if you had mobility issues.

Great location, really spacious and comfortable. Our daughter loved the piano. On street parking was always available in the evening directly outside the door (but I imagine sometimes that wouldn’t be the case when town is busier).

It was hot weather during our stay so we kept the windows open at night and as blinds are attached to window a lot of light came into the room early in the morning (Fans were provided)
