Fabulous area, large place, very modern and comfortable.

The automatic key did not work one day because we detached by accident due to the missing light switch. I called the agency and they sent someone 30min later to open the door. My suggestion is to please check the light switches. Most of the time the light does not work when you enter the apartment and it is dark. Very dangerous as there are stairs to go down into the apartment.

Great place and location

Electric panel was overloaded. Half of the lights would go out every day. Washing machine we met on and on for hours.

No air conditioning; just 2 fans.

Very clean and good location. It has everything you need and looks just like the pictures.

This property is NOT A LOFT it’s a basement , it smells like a basement and feels like a basement even at 30degrees outside. The bed is small and hard but it’s irrelevant because it’s really noisy all night, the apartment is near bars and restaurants and because it’s in the basement the noise is really intrusive. There are metal steps down In to the apartment that could be problematic for some people. Also the living room and bedroom are not separate so if one gets up you wake the other.

Location

Damp, smelly, no ventilation, no windows, no/freezer ice, 2 pillows, 2 towels, no laundry detergent, getting key involved following 8 step instructions involving going to another building to collect keys from locked box which was quiet difficult after flight from Australia. Location is good, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Easy to get to major tourist sites. Heating and hot water system was efficient - always good for a December stay.

Communication with managing agent was hard-going. They did not seem very obliging or eager to please. When I asked about what was provided, I was constantly told that there was 'everything I need', which wasn't the case. Apartment is stylish but needs some care and refurbishment - scratches and dents spoil the overall standard. Complicated set of instructions for access to keys and apartment, involving 2 different locations. Not easy with luggage. Beware when you walk in. There is a step immediately inside the door, poorly lit. Difficult and dangerous entering with suitcases. 1 dishwasher tablet is ridiculous for 5 days. just provide more instead of arguing about it.

Nothing

When we arrived, there was no light at the entrance of the apartment and everything was darkness. We called to report the issue (by 18h), they told us that someone could be sent to solve the problem. Additionally, when you enter you smell a damp smell. It was not possible to make telephone calls from inside because of the location. We had to leave to the lobby of the building to do that. It is not relevant that the space and the furniture be comfortable if the apartment is located underground. You feel as in prison.

The property is beautifully decorated, exactly as the pictures! It was clean, comfortable and the location was excellent! Communication with the owners was excellent! we arrived early into Madrid and they let us enter the property and leave our bags there earlier than check in time!

The smell of damp was a bit overwhelming and not very pleasant

Apartment location was AMAZING! Decor was gorgeous, heaps of space for two people! Kitchen well equipped and no issues with street noise given the super central location.

There was a damp/musty smell every time you entered. Bathroom had no ventilation weirdly and the bed was small and no very comfortable - should definitely upgrade the bed!
