Die Lage wer sehr schön und nicht all zu weit vom Mount Rushmore

Es hätte etwas sauber sein können, es war viel Dreck auf den Teppich und der Spiegel war auch nicht wirklich sauber.

"The water smells like sulpher."

The owners were friendly, and the room was cute.

The water. Brownish in color and smelled like sulpher. They said it was fine it was well water. I also have a well, and it doesn't stink or is brownish. We used bottled water the whole time. We only stayed 3 days out of our 5 days. The property was left in its natural state.. overgrown. They did have turkey and deer that came through each day. That was nice. Also. The owners live upstairs. You could hear the tv and them talking with their guests. We would not stay here again.

"Home away from home"

Quiet, really peaceful Contained everything we could need.. sorry we didn't have more time to set and enjoy this location.

We both have bad backs and the bed really didn't sleep well with us, but then again our own bed is only slightly more comfortable.

"A wonderful place to stay in God's beautiful country!"

We had such a great time staying at Ponchos Hideout. It was very lovely and we had all the amenities we needed. Pat was friendly and took the time to give us local ideas. We stayed in an apartment beneath them, but felt tucked away enough that we were secluded. The showers were hot and the floors were cool and the weather was perfect- couldn't ask for anything more!

Let me start off by saying that we were 100% satisfied . There are somethings that some folks may want to know about, so here it goes. First, and this is totally out of Ponchos Hideouts control- well water. I grew up with well water and smelling it brought back all kinds of feelings (I didn't like it) and Second, the roadway to their cabin was full of holes and ruts. Its a good thing we had a truck! Again, this was beyond what I ever expected and a grateful "home" to stay at while visiting the area. Enjoy!!
