It's our first experience skiing at the end of May and renting a private apartment on Booking. And I was a bit nervous. However, the location is superb, we needed to be as close to the ski area as possible. The apartment is nice and cosy, assume recently renovated. It's of a compact size, but just enough for 2 travellers with ski equipment and 3 nights stay. Very clean and very comfortable in terms of size. Large balcony with a nice mountains view. Even if we travel for 2 weeks regular ski vacation this apartment can be more than enough. Parking in the back yard with enough place. WiFi is free and rather fast. Everything you need is at the kitchenette - teapot, toaster, coffee-machine (Tschibo capsules), microwave together with oven - very convenient. Our big thanks to the owner!!!

The apartment itself is beautiful - nicely furnished and decorated, excellent bathroom with walk-in shower. Very good and comfortable mattresses - no one can complain any more. Well equipped kitchen if you wish to cook. Smart TV with Netflix was a nice surprise. The location is perfect - in the middle of Kaprun, with pizzeria in the building and Billa supermarket only few minutes walk away. Few bars and restaurants nearby which we did not have time to test though. ;) Short 30 min walk to the beautiful Sigmund-Thun gorge and around Klamsee. Bus stop to Zell am See about 2 min walk - but be careful, it's quite expensive! Over 8 EUR one way for two persons. It's cheaper and quicker to go by car (including full day parking), which we did the next day.

We would appreciate more the coffee machine for Nespresso style capsules. The one in the apartment is for much bigger type so we had to drink instant coffee. I should've asked in advance though, so it's my bad. ;) The only thing we really did not like were pillows - way too thin and soft, we had to fold them up like three times to get comfortable.
