Panorama Askifou

Beautiful view from the room over the plain. Good traditional food with helpful staff. Clean spacious room. Would like to stay again

Very quiet stay near the Askyfou plateau. The view from the room (studio) was amazing! The studio had lots of appliances: a small kitchen, a living room with couches and armchairs, a bathroom with a window... I really loved the cooking from the associated restaurant above, where you get the keys and can get breakfast, lunch and dinner in a room overlooking the plateau. The owner was very helpful with recommendations.

The room was cold at night (though there were blankets), but I still slept well. There is a lot of slope due to the hotel being located in the mountains, so there are stairs within the compound and it might not be very good for people with mobility concerns. Be careful if coming by bus: ask the driver to drop you at the hotel directly, because the official Askyfou bus stop is located on the other side of Askyfou (40 min walk or so on an uphill road without sidewalk).

The view was lovely overlooking farmland and surrounded by mountains. The location was great for accessing the Imbros Gorge. It was unexpectedly chillier at night than would be expected this time of year and our host provided extra blankets and turned on the heat earlier than scheduled to warm up the room.

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt direkt neben der Festung. Das Dorf ist sehr idyllisch und die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Andreas hat uns sehr nett empfangen und das Restaurant in der Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen, sowohl für Abendessen als auch für Frühstück. Alles selbst zubereitet von der Mama. Auch hier wieder mit einer schönen Aussicht. Auch ideal für den Ausflug zur Imbrosschlucht.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Zimmer war super :) Toller Ausblick, Bad war super, das Bett war auch bequem. Taverne im Haus sehr gut, tolles Abendessen und Frühstück erhalten. Tolle Ausgabgslage für Wanderungen.
